ChStrip is an AudioUnit Extension channel strip plugin that includes an equalizer and a compressor designed for tracking and mixing purposes. The equalizer features a three-band EQ with a low shelving filter, mid peak/notch filter, and high shelving filter. The compressor, utilizing a feed-back topology, offers dynamic range compression for a natural and musical sound. Neither the equalizer nor the compressor emulates specific hardware; instead, they are constructed by integrating techniques used in analog circuit modeling.

Equalizer
- 3-band EQ with Low Shelving filter, Mid Peak/Notch filter, and High Shelving filter.
- Different from the channel equalizer plugin, the Mid filter has a wider bandwidth (1 octave) and reduced gain (+/- 14 dB).
Compressor
- Stereo dynamic range compression
- Feedback topology implemented via delay-free feedback loop
- Side chain high pass filter
- Soft clip, Peak Limiter
- Auto fade in and auto fade out

Host Application:

The host application utilizes the system audio input as the audio source, and the processed audio signal is directed to the system audio output.
